Cobblestone Farms is located southeast of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Our family raises Angus cattle on grass land. The land was homesteaded in 1905 and was purchased by the Shantz family in 1915 and has remained in the family ever since. The farm is now under the management and ownership of the fifth generation, Calvin and Shawna Shantz.
Calvin and Shawna have spent their careers in several different aspects of the agriculture industry.  Calvin is a journeyman parts person that takes care of the farmers in the field, while Shawna is an Animal Health Technologist. This experience and the desire to produce a quality beef product and to teach our children, the sixth generation, is the motivation that drives our business.
As beef producers we are committed to producing a safe and wholesome product in a responsible way. We take pride in the animal care, health, and environmental well being.
Our cattle are not given any hormones or antibiotics and our meat does not have any dyes added. If an animal requires antibiotics for medical reasons, that animal is treated and removed from our beef program. We are proud to be a Verified Beef Production Producer and Alberta Health Services Inspected .
